Faculty member and alumna Tammara K. Phillips (BM ’97) will be one of the featured guest artists during the 2023 Florida Flute Association (FFA) convention in Orlando. Established in 1977, the Florida Flute Association is one of the largest state flute associations and presents a convention every January. The Association’s tradition of featuring Florida flutists in the Friday evening Gala Concert recognizes the impact of flute teachers and performers around the state. Dr. Phillips, Chair of the FFA Board, will present a solo recital and teach a masterclass during the 2023 convention.
