During the Varna International Music Festival in Columbia, South Carolina, Robin Sherwood gained valuable experience in musical theatre, acting, and vocal performance. For this summer festival, Sherwood was given the role of Marmee March in the festival’s production of “Little Women,” further developing her skills as both a singer and actor. In addition to the musical, Sherwood performed in two vocal revues, “The Magic of Broadway” and “Stage to Screen,” which provided opportunities expand her stage experience before diverse audiences.

Beyond performance, the festival allowed Sherwood to build meaningful connections with fellow musicians and collaborate with an exceptional faculty of artists and educators. These experiences strengthened her artistry, broadened her perspective as a performer, and deepened her passion for music and the performing arts. Sherwood is a student of Dr. Chadley Ballantyne.
