Stetson Alumnus Thomas Ingui Recognized as Outstanding Finalist at Saint-Maurice International Organ Competition

The 12th edition of the International Organ Competition of Saint-Maurice took place last week, featuring 12 selected candidates and culminating in an exciting final round. Known for its fully anonymous format, the competition allows both jury and audience to focus solely on the music, without knowing the performers’ identities. Finalists performed a shared program including works by Athanasiadès, Franck, Dupré, and Vierne, accompanied by soprano Magdalena Lukovic. The event also featured a rich cultural program of concerts, masterclasses, and tours, celebrating the world of the organ. Among the finalists, Thomas Ingui from New Haven, CT, won 3rd Prize, marking an impressive achievement in this internationally respected competition.
