Cellist Megan Savage (SU Graduate ‘21) and her Kourdisma Quartet have been named finalists of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Chamber Music Competition!
They will fly to compete in the final round Nevada at the end of March.
They also have won a place in National Orchestral Institute’s new Haydn Quartet program in partnership with the Smithsonian Institute where they will perform on a collection of Stradivari Instruments.
Congratulations and best of luck in both of these upcoming events!
Megan studied at Stetson with Dr. Jamie Clark.

So nice to have news of Megan and her blossoming career! One of our greatest disappointments during Covid was missing her senior recital! Good luck, Megan, if you get this! (from Richard and Reinhard, the two old guys in the front row)
