The Stetson Voice Department welcomes Prof. Amy Burton to campus this Wednesday and Thursday, April 6-7 2022. Ms. Burton serves on several of the most notable music faculties worldwide, including the Juilliard School, Mannes College of Music (The New School), the CUNY Graduate Center (DMA program), as well as the summer program SongFest. At Stetson, Ms. Burton will serve as the first “Judge Chair” for the annual Giffin Competition on Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, adjudicating and providing commentary for Junior voice-major participants in this historic event. Ms. Burton will also offer a public masterclass on Thursday, April 7 at 3:45 in Lee Chapel for four selected Stetson Voice students.
