The School of Music’s 53-member choir traveled on a spring tour Feb. 24-27, performing in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. The tour started with a convention appearance in Raleigh for the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) performing in the Ecumenical Music and Worship event at the historic Christ Church on Capitol Square.

The students also performed in concerts in Hickory, NC, Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL, sharing their music beyond the DeLand campus. The choir made connections with high school choral programs, churches, Stetson alumni, and parents.

All performances were conducted by Professor of Music Timothy Peter, DMA, with piano collaboration by Jacob Lytehaven ’19.
