Craig Uppercue Named Director of the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center

Stetson University School of Music alumnus Craig B. Uppercue has been named Director of the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center. He is also the new administrator of the school district’s Flagler Youth Orchestra and the director of the district’s K-12 Visual and Performing Arts programs.

Craig began his new role in July 2026, bringing extensive experience in music education, arts leadership, and community engagement to the position. In this role, he oversees the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center while supporting visual and performing arts programming throughout Flagler Schools.

Craig earned his Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University, where he currently serves as an adjunct faculty member in Music Education. His appointment reflects the impact Stetson School of Music alumni continue to make in music education and arts leadership within their communities.
