Christian Valenzuela Gonzalez Selected as Recipient of Scholarship from Jim and Frances Gordon

The Stetson University School of Music is pleased to announce that Christian Valenzuela Gonzalez has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Frances Moulthrop Gordon Scholarship, generously supported by Jim Gordon and his mother, Frances Moulthrop Gordon.

The scholarship was established to support piano students at Stetson. This year’s award continues the Gordon family’s support of Stetson piano students. By providing this scholarship for a second consecutive year, Jim and Frances are helping create opportunities for students to continue developing as musicians and scholars while pursuing their education at Stetson.

Their generosity reflects the meaningful difference that personal philanthropy can make in the educational experience of our students. Support such as this strengthens the School of Music’s ability to provide opportunities for talented young musicians and helps sustain a community in which students can grow artistically, academically, and personally.
