Stetson Alumni Joshua and Amber Blair Join Clayton State University Faculty

Two Stetson University School of Music alumni are beginning a new professional chapter together at Clayton State University in Georgia.

Joshua Blair has been appointed Assistant Professor and Director of Bands at Clayton State University, where he will lead the university’s band program and contribute to the preparation of future instrumental music educators. Joshua has built a career as a conductor, band director, and music educator. In his new role at Clayton State, he will focus on strengthening the university’s band program while working with students pursuing careers in instrumental music and music education.

Joining him at Clayton State is Amber Blair, also a graduate of Stetson University’s School of Music. Amber will serve as an Adjunct Professor of Voice, teaching class voice and private lessons in both classical and commercial vocal styles.

Joshua and Amber are excited to join the faculty at Clayton State University in the Department of Film, Communications, and Performing Arts.

The Stetson University School of Music celebrates Joshua and Amber Blair on these appointments and looks forward to the impact they will make as educators, mentors, and musicians at Clayton State University.
