Madison Mead (BMOF-Ed 2024) has been named the Rookie Teacher of the Year for 2025-2026 at Flagler Palm Coast High School where she is an associate band director.  

The category was recently added by the Flagler Schools to recognize the accomplishments of the teachers who recently joined the district and is only awarded on the school level.

Flagler Schools announced its Teacher, Employee and Rookie Teacher of the Year awards for 2025-2026 during the “Legacy By The Sea” event at the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center on January 29, 2026.
