Professor Kathy Thomas was a featured clinician at the Heartland Horn Camp in Carroll, Iowa, in July 2025.

Professor Kathy Thomas has an extensive professional career in Central Florida. Originally from Lombard, Illinois, she began playing horn at the age of nine with Sharon Corbin. Since moving to Florida in 1993, Professor Thomas has performed with the Walt Disney World Company, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, the Bach Festival Orchestra, the West Coast Symphony, The Florida Orchestra, and The Villages Orchestra.

She also manages a private teaching studio and has built an extensive recording career. Her studio work has been used by numerous companies, including ESPN, Disney World, and Tokyo Disney.
