This summer, Annika Hedrick, a junior, and Joey Rumberger, a first-year student, both pipe organ performance majors, will attend the Noordbroek Organ Academy. The participants will study the repertoire of North German Baroque composers, attend recitals, lectures and seminars, and have the opportunity for individual practice time on a dozen of the greatest organs in the Netherlands and North Germany. Additionally, they will have two opportunities to perform in recitals on these great instruments. The academy is headed by Dr. Peter Westerbrink, who currently lives in Noordbroek, and by Dr. Christian Teeuwsen from Canada. Both students are very excited about the invitation and the opportunity to attend.
