Grace Wieckowski Elected President-Elect of Florida NAfME Collegiate

We are proud to announce that Grace Wieckowski, a Sophomore Music Education Major, was elected by her peers from across the State of Florida to serve as President-Elect of Florida NAfME Collegiate, the state-wide arm of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for collegiate members in Florida.

As President-Elect of Florida NAfME Collegiate, Grace will serve for two years. The first year involves assisting the current president and learning as much from them about running the organization. In the second year, she will lead the organization as president.

Grace is an outstanding student and a natural leader who seeks out opportunities to grow as a person and as a music educator. Last summer, she attended the 2024 NAfME Collegiate Leadership Advocacy Summit in Reston, VA, and Washington, D.C., where she gained a passion for advocacy and engagement within and beyond our Stetson NAfME Collegiate chapter. Among other things, she is working on increasing our chapter involvement in Florida Hill Day, an advocacy event similar to the Washington D.C. event.

Grace can be seen in the accompanying photo (second from the right) with the newly elected Florida NAfME Collegiate leadership.
