St. Petersburg College has appointed Dr. Betsy Walch (B.M. and B.A. 2010) as their Professor of Applied Organ.

Dr. Walch is an esteemed alumna of both St. Petersburg College and St. Petersburg Collegiate High School. She holds degrees in organ performance from Stetson University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Illinois. Dr. Walch has also contributed her expertise to numerous local arts organizations, including The Florida Orchestra, the Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement, the Morean Arts Center and Chihuly Collection, and the Clearwater Arts Alliance.

Dr. Walch will commence organ lessons in the Fall semester (August 2024).
