Danae Tran, a first-year violin performance major under the direction of Professor Routa Kroumovitch-Gomez, has been accepted into the Eastern Music Festival orchestra program. Eastern Music Festival (EMF), a nationally recognized classical music festival and summer educational program, is held on the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. The EMF Young Artists Orchestra Program showcases two highly talented orchestras with participants from around the world. The orchestras rehearse rigorously and prepare full-length, ticketed concert programs featuring demanding repertoire  throughout the summer.
