Stetson University’s inaugural Trombone Day event was a rousing success! About 30 trombonists traveled from near and far across the Southeast for a full day of enriching instruction, performance and fellowship. Attendees participated in a group warmup session, observed a masterclass led by Stetson Assistant Professor of Trombone Dr. Dunwoody Mirvil, rehearsed in a mass trombone choir setting, and finally, wrapped up the day’s activities with a performance for parents and guests. 

On behalf of Dr. Mirvil and the Stetson Trombone Studio, thank you to the students, parents, and instructors who played a role in the event’s success.
