Visiting Assistant Professor and Stetson School of Music Alumnus (c/o ’97) Dr. Tammara K. Phillips has been invited to serve as Coordinator for the National Flute Association Flute Choir Call for Scores Competition.
Dr. Phillips, an avid supporter of original music for flute choir, will serve as Coordinator of this competition for 4 years. This annual competition selects one new work each year to be premiered at the National Flute Association Convention.
“I am excited to serve as a National Flute Association Committee Member representing Stetson University, and to further support composers in their endeavor to broaden the depth of the flute choir repertoire with their original works.”
