Following a rigorous audition process, Andres Gonzalez (2021, Bachelor of Music Education) has earned a conducting position with The United States Army Bands. 

While at Stetson, Gonzalez studied flute in the studio of Dr. Tammara Phillips, performed in nearly every ensemble, and was an outstanding Music Education student. 

After graduating from Stetson, he served as Director of Bands at Merritt Island High School for two years.  During his tenure there the bands received superior ratings at MPA.  

Gonzalez will be serving our country as an officer in the Army Bands.  He will receive his first conducting assignment in the Fall.
