Joseph Parr Participates in the Yale Organ Week

Joseph Parr recently participated in the Yale Organ Week, a week-long intensive program that featured 16 of the best undergraduate organ students in the country. He took lessons with Dr. Jonathan Moyer of Oberlin College and Conservatory and Dr. Janette Fishell of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He was also selected to conduct in a choral conducting workshop led by Prof. James O’Donnell of the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. He concluded the week with a performance of the Bach Fantasia and Fugue in G Minor, BWV 542 on the Beckerath Organ in Dwight Chapel.

Joseph is deeply grateful to have participated in this program offered by the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and is eternally thankful for the guidance he has received from Dr. Boyd Jones in his years at Stetson.
