The Stetson Cello Studio Celebrates Summer Successes

We are thrilled to share outstanding news from the Stetson Cello Studio!

Andrés Donoso Cepeda performed as a soloist with the Orquesta Sinfonica Santo Domingo in Santo.
Domingo, Chile, on May 20th.  He will perform another solo recital in Chile at the summer’s end as a leader in his home community.

Anthony Toro gave a phenomenal performance of the Lalo Cello Concerto with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra on May 21st at Artis-Naples.

Rianne Lee received a full scholarship to attend the National Symphony Orchestra Institute at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.  This summer, she will perform works including Strauss Der Rosenkavalier, Brahms Symphony No. 2, Still Symphony No. 2, and Ravel La Valse.

Georgie Gonzalez received a scholarship to attend the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival this summer in Vermont.  He will be performing chamber works and studying with Thomas Mesa and Christine Lamprea. 

Tatiana Byam received a scholarship to attend the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival this summer in Vermont.  She will perform chamber works and study with Matthew Zalkind and Rhonda Rider.

Alejandro Salazar received a scholarship to attend the Masterworks Festival in Kentucky this summer.  He will be performing as a soloist, chamber musician, and member of the orchestra. 

Corey Lehnertz received a scholarship to attend the Masterworks Festival in Kentucky this summer.  He will be performing as a soloist, chamber musician, and member of the orchestra. 

Emma Stoughton received a scholarship to attend the Charleston Chamber Music Intensive in Charleston, SC.  She will be performing in chamber concerts in the final week of July.
